Information we collect

When you book a vehicle or use our services, we may collect: your name, email address, and mobile phone number; booking details (dates, vehicle, pickup/return); driver’s license or identity verification information; insurance details where required; and payment information. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.

How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your reservation, verify identity and eligibility to rent, process payments and deposits, and send you service communications about your booking — including confirmations, pickup and return reminders, and reminders to complete an unfinished booking — by email and, with your consent, by text message.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and consent during booking, we send transactional text messages about your reservation. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — such as Stripe (payments and identity verification), Twilio (text messaging), Resend (email), and Supabase (hosting and data storage) — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also share information with the specific rental business you booked with, and where required by law.

Data retention & security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.
